Hi giys!!! I hope you’ve had
a meaningful and lovely easter celebration. today’s song is one I’ve come to
love to listen to and sing! Many people find it hard to believe the fact that
Jesus died and was raised by God to life. Well, this walk with God is by faith
and the Scriptures attest to all the historical details we need to believe.
The unchangeable truth is
that Jesus did die for our sins and God glorified Him by raising Him from the
dead on the third day. As John 3:16 says “for God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish
but have eternal life.”
swallowing death, breathing life~ john tibbs
Death has no hold on me,
Fear’s lost, I’ve been redeemed
Jesus has made me heir.
To joy that’s found in peace
Grace, hope and wondrous things
That which may not appear on earth here, below
On earth here, below
You raised Your right hand,
Swallowed death and despair
With Your unfailing love
You breathed Life into my soul
You breathed Life into my soul
Like ocean’s foaming rage,
Your love destroys all hate
Jesus has conquered death.
My sin, it has no name
My shame, has been erased
For You have paid my debt on earth here, below
On earth here, below
Holy, holy, holy are You Lord
Holy, holy, holy are You Lord
Holy, holy, holy are You Lord
Holy, holy, holy are You Lord
Holy are You Lord, Holy are You Lord.
“she will give birth to a son, and you are to give
Him the name Jesus, because He will save
His people from their sins.” Matthew
1:21
“He (Jesus) began to teach
them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders,
the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that He must be killed and
after three days rise again.” Mark 8:31
“it was now about noon,
and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun
stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called
out with a loud voice, ‘Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit.’ When He
had said this, He breathed His last. The centurion, seeing what had happened,
praised God and said, ‘surelythis was a righteous man.’ “ luke 23:44-47
“as they entered the tomb,
they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and
they were alarmed. ‘don’t be alarmed,’ he said. ‘you are looking for Jesus the
Nazarene, who was crucified. He has
risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.” mark 16:5-6
“you killed the author of
Life, but God raised Him from the dead.
We are witnesses of this.” Acts 3:15
“for what I received I
passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins
according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the
third day according to the Scriptures.” 1
corinthians 15:3-4
“surely He took our pain
and bore our suffering, yet we considered Him punished by God, stricken by Him,
and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for
our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds
we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5
“…day and night they never
stop saying: “holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and
is to come.” ” revelations 4:8
If you have not decided to
believe in Jesus for the salvation of your soul, I urge you now to please do
believe. His plan for your life will bring you an inner peace and your life
will be more meaningful and eternally purposeful. He is always ready to listen
when you talk to Him. believing in Him doesn’t mean everything will
automatically become perfect, no. but you sure will find meaning and have a
profound peace through the issues of your life. And heaven will await you! How
splendid!
and if you already believe
in Him but you’re not being passionate about pursuing Him, it’s time to wake up! I hope you don’t just go through the motions
of this celebration season, I hope you remember that Jesus is the center of it
all and He yearns to be at the center of your very life.
xoxo, gen delali.
