There’s this thing about Mondays that just undo many folks. And that’s exactly why I decided to create ‘music Mondays.’ To help us get through Mondays. Cos, yeah, I get it. it means the start of another week on the grind and possible stress. There’re so many things that we wish we could wish away. But oh welp, the best we can do is pray through it all and choose to be joyful on the journey, on the way to where Daddy is taking us.

The Lord will sometimes allow us to experience certain situations which we wouldn’t find so lovely. But in His love, He knows what’s best for us and uses so many situations to help us grow in Him and exercise our faith.

I doubt anyone loves taking exams. Well, I sure don’t. but it’s necessary we study and prepare well for them in order to move to a higher stage of life. I believe it’s similar with life in general. We need to go through some things to refine us, to take away things in our hearts that are not of Him, to make us better and more like Him.

Life is a labyrinth of twists and turns. Things do not always turn out the way we hope they will. But that’s not the time to resign ourselves to disappointment and give up. nope. Jesus overcame the grave. And because of that, His Spirit living inside His followers gives us the same power to overcome whatever setback, tests and trials we face.

I know I am not alone in all I’m going through. He’s right here with me, living on the inside of me. my physical eyes may not see, but with the eyes of faith I believe He is here, with His angels concerning me hovering around me. you are not alone in the sickness, heartbreak, disappointment, financial need, the battle to shed off weight, the looooong waiting season…you are not alone. 

He said we will have trouble in this world, remember? But He also said in Him we will have peace, peace that surpasses all understanding in the midst of the affliction. I will keep seeking His face in prayer and confess His Word for a breakthrough. Surely, He will keep giving me the strength to carry on, I hope you seek Him too. Do not lose hope.

music monday// He is with you

life. such a little word-a four letter word yet it holds so much. it's up and down, joy and grief, peace and anxiety, a smooth, calm sea and a turbulent, high tide ocean. it ebbs and flows. in the midst of all of these, my anchor, my sure rock, has, is and will continue to be Jesus. the Word in flesh.

as i sail through this uncertain sea of life, i hold His promises close to my heart, and i cling to Him for dear Life- the life filled with deep joy even in the most disturbing situation, and the life that awaits me for eternity! He is the anchor of my soul. He is with me and He assures me of it.

 i love this song cos of how it captures snapshots of different kinds of people and what they may be facing.

yes, He is with you when you've given up on ever finding your true love,

someone who feels like home. He is with you.

when nothing else is left and you take your final breath, He is with you.

whatever you and i may be facing, He is with you, He is with me. He is with us. it's a truth we need to believe especially on the hard days. He promised never to leave or forsake us. He left His Holy Spirit to be with us, remember? all things are working for our good. He is with you, friend. :)
